The Wall is an upcoming American war Movie directed by Doug Liman and written by Dwain
Worrell, about two American soldiers trapped by an Iraqi sniper. The Movie stars Aaron
Taylor-Johnson, and John Cena. It is produced by Amazon Studios, and is scheduled to be
released on 2017 May 12 by Roadside Attractions On 2014 November 12 it was announced
that Amazon Studios had bought its first ever original spec script by Dwain Worrell,
about an American sharpshooter trapped behind a wall and an Iraqi sniper.
Story line: Glen Basner's FilmNation Entertainment handled the Movie's international
sales at the 2016 Cannes Movie Festival, which would be released theatrically.On
2016 May 9 Variety confirmed that Aaron Taylor-Johnson had joined the film's cast
to play the American sniper.On 29 November it was reported that Amazon had partnered
with Roadside Attractions to distribute the Movie, which would also star John Cena, and
the Movie would now follow two American soldiers. Amazon produced the film along with Big
Indie Pictures, and Picrow, and Dave Bartis.US Ranger Sniper Nicholas Irving "The Reaper"
was an on-set advisor for this Movie.
